Edit: I've re-added the v222 zip for TinyTSS while I work on the rewrite.
I've finished the first round of fixes with Umbrella. Umbrella now supports mac, windows, and linux although linux is a bit flaky until I iron out some (non critical) defects. (I'm aware of the segmentation fault but I haven't pinned it down)
Eventually Umbrella and TinyTSS will be combined into the same application. Now that I've gotten device detection finished on Umbrella I can work on the TinyTSS rewrite.
As always keep me posted if you find any bugs.
Special thanks to @iOPK for the icons!

Appears to be a bug in the Mac version. When going into advanced options the save my shsh button is grayed out.
ReplyDeleteThe button enables when you've got a valid ECID in the field. So plug a device in or enter a valid ECID and you're good to go.
ReplyDeleteI see. This field was already populated with the number you use for the shsh file so I left it alone. Tutorial update time...
ReplyDeleteMy Windows 7 machine with Norton Security (Comcast included with any user) says that the windows version has a virus in it, and immediately deletes it. Anyone else seeing this? Suppose it is a mistake by Norton?
ReplyDeleteThe mac download link is corrupted!
ReplyDeleteCan you fix it???
Thanks!!!!
The Mac download works just fine for me, just tried it.
ReplyDeleteIs says my ECID is only 13 digits. Is that right?
ReplyDeleteI have a 3gs 3.1.2 MC131 and umbrella detect it but but when get on Advance Mode to Save SHSH Cydia, Local or Apple (3.1.2, its says "couldn't get ECID ... for this model".
ReplyDeleteAny clue or solution how to fix it?
Is the v222 TinyTSS all OS missing some files? When I try to create my blob it can't do it. When I use your previous TinyTSS (with many additional support files) it works just fine.
ReplyDeleteCan you help me out here? OS: linux

ReplyDeleteTried it 3x.

@Jud - you need to check your browser. I just downloaded it myself - 3.2mb. It's been downloaded a couple thousand times and I've verified the file on mediafire. Sorry you're having troubles but the issue is not with the file.
ReplyDelete@Ramjee - I'm not answering that question - read my entry on feb 4.
@Donald - yes the ecid I print is in decimal, the one you are thinking of is in hexidecimal. lol cmon people?
@Kevin - I have no idea why it would trigger norton. The only thing spooky in the executable is that it wraps java o.O
@firmwareumbrella,
ReplyDeleteI tried downloading it an hour or so later and it worked, though it is unlikely Safari on OSX is the culprit. Direct linking to mediafire is the most likely issue.
Great software though,
Jud
the beta doesn't detect my iphone at all. but the non beta does. :( help please
